Cap The Stair is a local business dedicated to vinyl stair tread manufacturing. This site is focused entirely on stair treads — helping customers match their flooring, order from our inventory, or bring in vinyl material for a custom build.
We manufacture stair treads from our catalog vinyl material or from vinyl supplied by the customer. We do not install treads on-site. Customers pick up finished treads or arrange delivery once the order is ready.
Typical turnaround is 3–4 business days, depending on whether the order uses customer-supplied vinyl, in-stock catalog material, or premade treads.
We primarily serve the general Chicagoland suburb area. Delivery to states bordering Illinois may be available for an additional fee.
